Mosaic Handbell Ensemble

About Us

Nationally recognized composer and director Kath Wissinger founded Mosaic Handbell Ensemble in the fall of 2010.  The 10 member group was formed to give dedicated ringers an opportunity to advance their skills.  Mosaic performs sacred and secular repertoire, including the popular "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie theme, using 3 ½ octaves of handbells and handchimes. Mosaic's mission is to promote handbell education through performance and community outreach programs.

Rehearsals & Performances

Rehearsals are 2 hours and 15 minutes at Redeemer Classical School in Keezletown, Va. We have a target of three outreach performances per semester.  Call Kath Wissinger to arrange a performance 540-289-6973

We invite you to become a part of Mosaic’s vision by becoming a ringer or a supporter. Ringer applicants are accepted in mid-August and mid-December of each year. Ringing subs are also welcome to apply.

Supporters may purchase a set of music scores (about $40-$50), an instrument (additional chimes or bells) or equipment (mallets, pads, covers, tables.) Additionally, you can support us by participating in our educational outreach workshops or through our community outreach programs.
